What is the Artificial Turf Installation Process?
It all starts with a review of the property. Our team at Plant Nativ will send a landscaping professional to do a site inspection. This will include evaluating irrigation, trees, plants and the grade of the site. Once he or she has reviewed your property with you, they will be able to provide you with a number of options based on what YOU want. They’ll show you product samples and discuss the pros and cons of different types of artificial turf. Once the initial design is complete, together we’ll select the best time to get started.
Consider Drought Tolerant Grass
What is Drought Tolerant Grass?
If you want to save water but really prefer the look and feel of real, living grass, there are beautiful types of drought tolerant grass we recommend and install in San Diego County. For example, Bermuda grass is a drought tolerant summer grass.
We are proud to install a new strain of this hybrid grass called Bandera Bermuda. It requires little watering and thrives in the summertime (note: during the summer season, it will need weekly cutting). The Bandera Bermuda grass can reduce your water usage by as much as 30-40% (compared to 50-65% with a drought tolerant landscape).
